Impact areas

By taking positive action in a few key areas, firms can individually demonstrate their environmental responsibility, and collectively the legal sector can make a significant contribution to addressing climate change.

The identified priority areas are:

• Carbon footprinting
• Minimising resource use
• Educating clients
• Engaging employees
• Working with suppliers
• Measuring and reporting

Each month, the founding members of the Alliance will be researching a different area and the related issues and producing a discussion paper which will inform the development of a strategy for wide scale action by law firms of all sizes.
